COAL: Polish JSW, Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka Sign Deal to Boost Mining Efficiency.

Polish coal producers JSW and Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka have signed a letter of intent to collaborate on optimising production processes, developing new technologies, and improving operational efficiency in Polish mining, according to the firms, cited by ISB news.

  • The cooperation aims to develop joint solutions that increase innovation and productivity.
  • JSW is the largest producer of high-quality hard-coking coal in the EU.
  • And Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka Holds a 16.5% share in Poland’s hard coal market, 21.7% in thermal coal and 27.1% share in coal sold to power plants.
