POWER: UK May Reduce SMR Funding in Spending Review

UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves is expected to reduce funding for the UK’s SMR programme to two reactors, from three to four reactors previously expected, sources told Reuters.
- The chancellor is expected to announce funding during the next spending review, scheduled for 26 March.
- Great British Energy previously advertised contracts worth £20bn in total for SMR technology partners.
