• Petrobras exploration and production director Sylvia dos Anjos speaking on the sidelines of the CERAWeek conference in Houston, Texas said that gas from the Vaca Muerta region in Argentina would be interesting as there is a pipeline connecting Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia that could be used to transport it, according to Reuters.
• She went on to say that oil exploration in the region would be of value to replace reserves in Brazil as it was difficult to get environmental permits for new areas of Brazil.
• More positive news on potential foreign direct investment for Argentina.
