US NATGAS: Central & Northern Cali Prices Higher on Day

PG&E City Gate is up 20 cents/MMBtu, while Malin is 19 cents/MMBtu higher according to NGI. Prices are supported by rising demand and below normal temperature forecasts.
- Total state-wide demand in California is currently at 5.1bcf/d, up by around 0.05bcf/d. Demand is 1.31bcf/d below the 30-day average.
- End user demand is up 45 mcf/d to 4.4 bcf/d today. This compares to the 30-day average of 5.59 bcf/d.
- Exports to Mexico are stronger today at 0.36bcf/d. This compares to 0.35 bcf/d yesterday and the 30-day average of 0.38 bcf/d.
- Net natural gas inflows to California via pipeline stand at 5.02bcf/d, up by around 0.15bcf/d on the day.Pipeline inflows are 5.38bcf/d above the 30-day average.
- Flows are 0.28 bcf/d stronger on Mohave and are up marginally on GTN, Kern River, North Baja, and Transwestern. This is offsetting losses on El Paso, and Ruby. Flows from the Pacific Northwest to California are up marginally at 1.69 bcf/d.
- The NOAA forecasts below normal temperatures in California over the next 6-14 days.
