Sebastien Mc Mahon, a former staffer at Quebec’s finance ministry and the provincial markets regulator, says the central bank can be patient after Donald Trump left Canada off the list of new global tariffs.

He sees the Bank of Canada holding in April and cutting at every second meeting for the rest of this year.
