Romania's Digi24 reports that the Constitutional Court of Romania has upheld its ban on right-wing candidate Calin Georgescu from running in the repeat presidential election due to take place in May. The decision of the CCR is said to be 'final and binding'. Digi24: "All 11 appeals regarding the [Central Election Bureau, BEC] decision to reject his candidacy in the elections were rejected. The CCR judges uphold the BEC's decision and say that Georgescu cannot run in the presidential elections, Digi24 sources also explain."
