USD/CNH tracks near 7.2660 in early Thursday dealings. We are close to recent highs just above the 7.2700 level, while CNH lost 0.14% for Wednesday's session. This was in line with the tick higher in broader USD indices for the session. Tariff threats from President Trump weighed on EUR and drove volatility in CAD and MXN. Spot USD/CNY finished up at 7.2578 for Wednesday. The CNY CFETS basket fell to 99.41, losing 0.21% (per BBG). This resumes the index's recent downtrend.
