Iraq is not resuming crude exports to Turkey via pipeline with issues surrounding compensation still needing resolved according to an Iraqi oil ministry official speaking with Bloomberg.
- The official said there is no indication of when exports could resume.
- The Turkey-Iraq oil pipeline has been “ready to operate” as of Wednesday according to Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar earlier Thursday.
- On the resumption of flows, Bayraktar said “that is something that depends on the Iraqi side and production in Iraq.”
