President Biden has received a polling boost after an hitherto muted reaction to the strong Democrat performance at the US midterms in November.

• A new poll from CNN/SSRS has seen Biden’s approval jump five percentage-points to 46%, his highest approval rating in the CNN poll since December 2021.
• The CNN/SSRS poll follows a strong polling report from Conservative pollster Rasmussen Reports giving Biden an approval rating of 50%.
• According to Real Clear Politics, Biden's approval currently sits at 41.9%, up from 41% last weeek.
