CNN has reported a series of exit polls hinting at Trump strength in Georgia. According to CNN, 40% or repondents reported the economy as the most important issue of the election.

• The CNN exit poll noted that only 28% reported Democracy and 14% abortion as their most important issues - seen as two key issues that favour Harris.
• More worryingly for Harris, 50% of exit poll respondents said that federal hurricane aid is not going to people who need it, compared to 47% who said it was. Moreover, 51% said that Trump is more trusted than Harris (47%) to handle a crisis. The numbers will concern Democrats as natural disaster management is often correlataed with a strong election performance.
• Although the reports have spiked Trump implied probability of winning the state to 72%, as noted previously, exit polls are an imperfect metric for predicting election outcomes. Harris will be buoyed by seperate reports that turnout is expected to be high in the state.
