Weather in northern and continental Europe in October is expected to be cool with near normal conditions according to a Reuters forecast from 27 September. 

• Temperatures next month are forecast to be near or slightly below normal, with mostly moderate precipitation.
• Extremely wet weather is forecast to be unlikely.
• In comparison, the latest month-ahead forecast from Bloomberg suggested mean temperatures in NW Europe below the seasonal normal for most of October, with precipitation expected to be in line with the average.
