European LNG bunker prices have climbed to a five-week high, as concerns grow over escalating conflicts in the Middle East and winter uncertainties.

  • The Rotterdam and Barcelona LNG bunker fuel prices at $14.804/MMBtu and $14.905/MMBtu respectively.
  • This puts Rotterdam LNG bunker fuel at a $1.938/MMBtu premium to DES NWE cargoes, the lowest since Aug. 9.
  • While the wider LNG market remains structurally bearish with over 90% storage levels, uncertainties about the winter heating season are adding some bullish sentiment.
